They were sewed and embroidered by hand. Even the women in craftsmen’s home helped in punching the leather, forming a design, shaping the soul. This skilled craft earned the word Vhaan.
Once Vhaan handed over by craftsmen, owner would need to thoroughly oil it, soak it in the sun. This long meticulous process of footwear was worn in pride those days.
